Itinerary

The Tour to Machupicchu on Train Expedition or Panoramic with Peru Rail, takes place every day of the year.

This tour will allow you to discover the Inca city of Machupicchu in 1 full day, the trip takes place by train in a journey of approximately 4 hours and the Inca city is visited in 2 hours with approximately 30 minutes. We work with specialized and competitive guides, ensuring that your visit to Machupicchu is satisfactory.

Day 1 MachuPicchu

Very soon after your choice of train service: Expedition Train or Vistadome Train, we will stop by your hotel in the city of Cusco to transfer to the train station, from where you will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes (altitude 2350 m.s.n.m), the travel time on both trains is 3 hours with approximately 45 minutes.

Our professional tourism guide will be waiting for you at the hot water train station, which will take you to the bus station for the climb to the majestic and impressive Inca city of Machupicchu (altitude 2450 m.s.l.).

The uphill trip from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu lasts (25 minutes), arriving at Machu Picchu the guided tour begins for 2 hours with approximately 30 minutes, visiting: the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Reloj, Los Cuartos Reales, El Templo de las Tres Ventanas y los Cementerios.

Finally, finishing the guided tour, you will have free time to continue exploring the Inca City of Machupicchu and take photographs in your account, and at the indicated time, depending on the time of your return train you will have to take the downhill bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes (25 minutes of travel)

Have lunch in the town of Aguas Calientes and finally take the train from the Aguas Calientes station to Cusco (3 hours with approximately 45 minutes of travel), where our personal will be waiting for you with a cartel with your name to arrange the respective transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
