DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO LIMA

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, a representative of our travel agency will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel in Lima, known as the “City of Kings.” During the journey, you will have your first impressions of Peru’s vibrant capital city, famous for its rich history, colonial architecture, and exceptional gastronomy.

DAY 2: LIMA CITY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic City Tour of Lima. We continue towards Miraflores, where we will have a stop at Love Park for stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, and enjoy a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana. We will also pass through the traditional El Olivar Park. Then, we head to the Historic Center of Lima for a panoramic visit of its main landmarks, including Plaza Mayor of Lima, the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and Plaza San Martín, among other colonial buildings.

Finally, we visit the Convent of San Francisco, where you will enter its famous catacombs. Return to your hotel.

DAY 3: LIMA TO AREQUIPA

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer from the hotel to the Lima airport for boarding 2 hours in advance.
• In the morning, flight from Lima to Arequipa (1 hour 30 minutes aprox.).
• Reception and transfer to the hotel.
• In the afternoon, city tour of the White City of Arequipa
• Accommodation at the selected hotel.

After checking out from the hotel, we will transfer you to Lima Airport for your domestic flight to the “White City” of Arequipa. The flight lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your selected hotel in Arequipa.

At approximately 2:00 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to begin a fascinating tour of the “White City.” This excursion includes a visit to the famous Santa Catalina Monastery, considered the jewel of Arequipa and opened to the public in 1970 after more than 400 years of religious seclusion. Inside the monastery, you will admire charming colonial streets, colorful patios, peaceful plazas, and an extraordinary collection of colonial art and architecture.

The tour also includes visits to the beautiful Plaza de Armas, the cloisters of the Church of the Company of Jesus, and the traditional districts of Cayma and Yanahuara, where you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the majestic Misti Volcano and the surrounding landscapes of Arequipa.

After the tour, return to your hotel and free time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. Overnight stay at the selected hotel in Arequipa.

DAY 4: EXCURSION TO CAÑÓN DEL COLCA 02 DAYS/01 NIGHT.

• Tour to the Colca Canyon, Vicuñas and Chivay Reserve
• Overnight at a hotel in Colca.

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at 7:45 a.m. and begin our journey toward the spectacular Colca Canyon, traveling through the breathtaking highland landscapes surrounding the foothills of the Chachani Volcano.

Along the route, we will cross the plains of Cañahuas and Arrieros, home to the National Reserve of Vicuñas, where you will have the opportunity to observe these elegant Andean camelids in their natural habitat. We will also pass through picturesque traditional villages such as Vizcachani, La Pulpera, Callalli, Sibayo, and Tuti, where the local culture and scenery reflect the authentic spirit of the Peruvian Andes.

During the excursion, we will reach elevations of over 4,000 meters above sea level, where you can admire the unique flora and fauna of the region, including the beautiful wetlands known as bofedales, the lagoons of Mar Atrapado, and impressive rock formations shaped like giant castles.

After enjoying this magnificent Andean journey, we will finally arrive in Chivay, located in the heart of the Colca Valley, where you will have time to rest and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

DAY 5: COLCA CANYON AND VIEW OF THE CONDORS.

• Trip to the Colca Canyon, view of the Cruz de Cóndores.
• Trip from Chivay to Puno (approx. 5 hours trip)
• Overnight in Puno

Very early in the morning, after breakfast, we will depart toward the famous “Cruz del Cóndor,” the most iconic viewpoint of the Colca Canyon. From this spectacular location, you will be able to admire the immense depth of one of the world’s deepest canyons while surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes.

During the visit, you will also have the opportunity to observe the majestic Andean condor flying in its natural habitat, an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of the journey through the Colca Valley.

After a brief stop at the “Cruz del Cóndor,” we will return to Chivay and continue our journey toward the city of Puno. The trip takes approximately 5 hours, crossing beautiful highland scenery along the route.

DAY 6: TOUR OF LAKE TITICACA, LOS UROS AND TAQUILE ISLAND.

• Tour to Lake Titicaca, Uros Island + Taquile.
• Return to the hotel.
• Overnight at selected hotel in Puno.

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. and transfer you to the port of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. There, we will board a boat to begin our excursion across the highest navigable lake in the world.

Our first visit will be to the fascinating Uros Floating Islands, unique man-made islands built entirely from totora reeds. Here, you will learn about the ancestral traditions, daily life, and craftsmanship of the Uros people, who have preserved their unique culture for generations.

We will then continue our navigation toward Taquile Island, a beautiful Andean island renowned for its rich cultural heritage and extraordinary textile traditions recognized by UNESCO. During the visit, you will discover the customs and lifestyle of the local inhabitants while enjoying stunning panoramic views of Lake Titicaca. A traditional lunch on the island will be included.

In the afternoon, we will return by boat to the port of Puno and transfer you back to your hotel.

DAY 7: TOURIST TRIP FROM PUNO TO CUSCO

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Pick up from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to travel to Cusco with stops along the route and with a guide (we arrive in Cusco at approximately 5:00 p.m.)
• Transfer to the hotel in Cusco.
• Overnight at selected hotel in Cusco.

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. and begin our journey toward Cusco, the historic capital of Peru and former center of the Inca Empire. During this scenic trip through the southern Andean corridor, our professional guide will accompany you while visiting some of the most important cultural and archaeological sites along the route.

Our first stop will be the Pukara Museum, dedicated to the ancient Pukara culture and its fascinating Inca-Aymara heritage. We will then continue through the stunning Andean landscapes until reaching La Raya Pass, the highest point of the journey at 4,335 meters above sea level, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and highland valleys.

Next, we will visit the archaeological complex of Raqchi, an impressive Inca site famous for the Temple of Wiracocha and its remarkable stone and adobe constructions.

Before arriving in Cusco, we will make our final stop at the Temple of Andahuaylillas, often referred to as the “Sistine Chapel of America” due to its extraordinary colonial murals, gold decorations, and beautiful religious artwork. Arrival in Cusco is expected at approximately 5:00 p.m. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 8: CITY TOUR

• Afternoon city tour of Cusco (from 13:00 PM to 18:00 PM).

Rest of the morning to acclimatize to the altitude of 3,350 meters above sea level. Approximately.

Pick up from the Hotel between 1:00 p.m. to 1:20 p.m., to begin the visit to the City and nearby Archaeological Centers: The Tour will show us the impressive Colonial City built on Inca bases; we will visit the Cathedral; of Renaissance structure and with fine paintings from the “Cuzco School”.

Qorikancha, or Temple of the Sun; known as the Royal House of the Sun in Cusco. We continue with the visit to the 4 Archaeological Centers: Sacsayhuaman; great fortress located 5 km from the city. Qenqo; sacred amphitheater, center of worship of the god Puma, place where human sacrifices were possible. Pucapucara; red fortress due to the hue that its rocks acquire with the light of twilight and Tambomachay; temple to worship water. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 9: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – AGUAS CALIENTES

Breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 08:00 a.m. to begin our unforgettable excursion through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be a traditional Andean home in the community of Raqchi, where you will discover ancestral textile craftsmanship and learn about ancient weaving techniques preserved by local families for generations. During your visit, you will also have the opportunity to interact with llamas and alpacas while experiencing authentic Andean traditions and rural life.

We will then continue to Moray, an impressive archaeological site composed of circular terraces believed to have been used by the Incas as an agricultural experimentation center for crop acclimatization. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, this fascinating site offers a unique insight into the advanced agricultural knowledge of the Inca civilization.

Next, we will visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular complex of hundreds of salt pools carved into the mountainside and still used today by local families. As you walk through this extraordinary landscape, your guide will explain the traditional salt extraction process and the importance of this activity to the local economy since pre-Inca times.

Finally, we will arrive at Ollantaytambo, one of the most beautiful and best-preserved Inca towns in Peru, where narrow cobblestone streets and original Inca structures continue to reflect the living history of the Andes. After the tour, we will board the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), enjoying a scenic journey of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes through stunning valleys and cloud forest landscapes.

DAY 10: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

• Today, you will visit Machu Picchu accompanied by our guide.
• Bus ride to the citadel of Machu Picchu (30 minutes)
• Guided tour of Machu Picchu of approximately 2 to 3 hours.
• In the afternoon, return by train from Machu Picchu to Poroy, or Ollantaytambo train station – Expedition Train Class.
• Hotel in Cusco

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and transfer you to the bus station to begin the ascent to the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. After an approximately 30-minute bus ride through breathtaking mountain landscapes, we will arrive at one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Once inside the citadel, you will enjoy a guided tour through the most important sectors of Machu Picchu, visiting remarkable sites such as the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Sacred Temple, and the famous viewpoints overlooking the ancient Inca city. Throughout the tour, your guide will share the fascinating history, architecture, and mysteries surrounding this extraordinary archaeological sanctuary.

After the guided visit, we will descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on your own and explore the town at your leisure.

In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Poroy or Ollantaytambo station, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you comfortably back to your hotel in Cusco.
