Itinerary

Day 1: Trujillo – Moche Culture, Chan Chan & Huanchaco

Upon arrival in Trujillo, our team will welcome you at the airport or bus station and transfer you to begin this fascinating journey through the history of Northern Peru.

After breakfast, we visit the Moche countryside to explore the impressive Temples of the Sun and the Moon, important archaeological sites that reveal the greatness of the ancient Moche civilization. We will admire their original murals, colorful friezes and learn about their traditions at the modern Moche Museum.

In the afternoon, we continue to the Chan Chan Archaeological Complex, the largest adobe city in America and former capital of the Chimú Kingdom. We visit Huaca Arco Iris, the Site Museum and the Nik An Palace, discovering the impressive architecture and symbolism of this ancient civilization.

The day ends at Huanchaco Beach, famous for its traditional Caballitos de Totora, ancient reed boats still used by local fishermen.

Day 2: El Brujo Archaeological Complex & Journey to Máncora

After breakfast, we continue our cultural exploration with a visit to the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, one of the most important archaeological sites on the northern coast of Peru.

We explore Huaca Cao Viejo, known for its impressive reliefs and murals, and visit the museum that houses the famous Lady of Cao, a remarkable discovery that revealed the important role of women in the Moche society.

In the afternoon, we transfer to the bus station for our journey to Máncora, traveling along the beautiful northern coast of Peru by comfortable overnight bus.

Day 3: Los Órganos – Swimming with Sea Turtles Experience

Early morning arrival in Máncora and transfer to your hotel. After a short rest, we begin an unforgettable marine adventure in Los Órganos Beach.

Board a boat and sail into the Pacific Ocean to enjoy the unique experience of swimming with sea turtles in their natural environment. During the excursion, you will also have the opportunity to practice open-sea fishing and participate in the preparation of a delicious fresh ceviche on board.

Enjoy a complimentary traditional Mancorino lunch before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Máncora Beach & Horseback Riding by the Sea
