First Day: City tour Cusco around cusco and outskirts

• Pickup from the airport in Cusco to the hotel
  City Tour in the afternoon (from 2p.m to 6:30 pm)

You are kindly requested to arrive at Lima Airport at least two hours prior to your flight departure to Cusco. Proceed to the airline counter and present your identification documents for a smooth check-in. The flight duration to Cusco is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Upon arrival in Cusco, known as “The Archaeological Capital of the Americas”, our private staff will be waiting to warmly welcome you and provide a comfortable private transfer to your hotel.

At the hotel, you will be greeted with a refreshing cup of traditional coca tea to help you acclimate gently to the altitude. You will then have time to rest and relax in the comfort of your accommodations.

Around 13:30 hrs, our private guide and driver will collect you from your hotel to begin your exclusive Cusco City Tour. Accompanied by a professional and knowledgeable English-speaking guide, you will discover the most impressive sites of the former Inca capital:

• Koricancha (Temple of the Sun): The ancient religious center of the Inca Empire, where you will admire the extraordinary precision and engineering of its stonework, now harmoniously blended with the colonial Convent of Santo Domingo.
• Cusco Cathedral: A magnificent colonial monument of exceptional artistic and historical value.
• Sacsayhuamán: An imposing stone fortress located just 3 km from the city, famous for its massive carved stones — some weighing up to 350 tons and standing nearly 9 meters high. This is also the sacred site where the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) is celebrated every June.
• Qenqo: A ceremonial amphitheater used for ancient Inca rituals and sacrifices.
• Puca Pucara: An old Inca tambo (resting place) that once served as a strategic control point along the empire’s routes.
• Tambomachay: Known as the “Bath of the Inca,” this elegant ceremonial center is dedicated to the worship of water, located 7 km from Cusco.

The tour lasts approximately 5 hours and concludes around 18:30 hrs, allowing you to return to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Second Day: Machupicchu tour in one day

• Pick up from the hotel in the morning to take you to the train station.
• Train to Machupicchu
• Welcome to our passenger for our professional guide on the train station in Machupicchu
• Guided tour about 2hrs and half
• Free time to take pictures and walk for your own.
• Train back to Cusco in the afternoon.

From 05:45 hrs to 06:00 hrs., we pick you up from your Hotel in Cusco (3400 mosl) and drive you to the Train Station, located in Poroy, then we get aboard the train and the trip from Cusco starts heading to Aguas Calientes (2000 mosl).Our Guide Will be waiting there , he will lead us to the bus station, to go up by a zigzag way for 30 minutes to reach the world wide marvel The Sanctuary of Machupicchu, known as the lost city of the Incas.

Once we get to Machu-Picchu, We’ll pass throught the control, where we’ll hand in our entrance tickets and where our guided tour will start, visiting the main square, the Circular tower, the sacred solar watch, the royal rooms, the temple of the three windows and the cementeries, it lasts around two hours.

Afterwards you’ll be given enough time to have a walk around the citadel and have your meals , at any restaurant in Aguas Calientes or if you wish at Santuary Lodge (this is not included). In the afternoon, betwen 15:30 hrs and 17:00 hrs we’ll return on train to Cusco, we’ll be waiting for you at the train station and then we’ll take you back to your hotel.
