DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO LIMA – WELCOME TO PERÚ

Arrival in the Jorge Chavez International Airport of Lima, reception by a Representative of our Travel Agency and transfer to the Hotel selected in Lima, known as “The City of Kings”. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 2: CITY TOUR LIMA

In the morning, after relaxing a bit, after arriving in your country and having breakfast, we will start the tour at 9:00 a.m the City tour in “The City of Kings” Lima, on the way we will make a stop in the main district of Lima, where we have a panoramic tour, visiting the principal district of Lima like Miraflores and San Isidro.

We will go to our tourist transportation to Miraflores where we will see the Park of Love located on the boardwalk from where you can take beautiful photos overlooking the Pacific Ocean, we will have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana which is a Pre-Inca religious temple and administrative center inhabited between the III and VIII centuries A.C, then we will take a walk through the park of the olive trees, we will arrive to the historical center of Lima where we will appreciate the Palace of Justice, the Walk of the Naval Heroes, the French Palace and colonial buildings such as the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Basilica Cathedral, the Municipal Palace, Plaza San Martín, among others. Following our tour of the Church and Convent of San Francisco, we will visit its impressive subterranean crypts known as Catacombs, back to the hotel. Hotel in Lima.

DAY 3: LIMA TO CUSCO

• Flight from Lima to Cusco.
• Welcome and transfer from the airport in Cusco to your hotel.

This day we will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Jorge Chavyez international airport in Lima to take the flight to Cusco, “Archaeological capital of America” (elevation 3350 meters above sea level), where you will be received at the airport by our staff with a sign with your name to transfer you to your hotel, once at the Hotel we will offer you coca leaves tea for the acclimatization of the place.

DAY 04: SACRED VALLEY TOUR AND TRAIN IN THE AFTERNOON

• Tour in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting: The handmade Indian Market of Pisac, Pisac archaeological site and the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. (from 8:00 am- 16:00 hrs)
• Lunch in the Sacred Valley
• In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic journey aboard the Expedition class train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.
• Hotel stay in Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas tour begins at 8:00am, but we will come to pick you up at your hotel lobby before the tour starts. In this tour you will visit the town of Pisac. Located 32 km from city of Cusco.

Pisaq is a typical Andean artisan and archaeological town where the famous Handicraft Fairs are held in their typical markets where you can make purchases and enjoy a guided tour in the archaeological sites of the place; continuing with our tour of approximately one hour we will pass through different towns such as: Coya, Lamay, the province of Calca, Yucay appreciating the beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will pass to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious lunch at “Hawa” restaurant; Later we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo (It is the only Incan city in Peru that is still inhabited) to visit the archaeological complex of the same name; having been an agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex in the Tahuantinsuyo, ending the tour you will have free time in the town of Ollantaytambo, where you can visit their craft market, their small streets that still keeps the layout of the Inca streets, seeing the water run through its old canals, is like going back in time, ideal for taking pictures.

At the indicated time you will take the Ollantaytambo train to the town of Aguas Calientes, 1 hour 40 minutes’ journey, where our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the selected hotel and explain for the tour of the next day and the agree on the pickup time for the next day.

DAY 05: GUIDED VISIT TO THE CITADEL OF MACHUPICCHU

• Begin your day with an unforgettable visit to Machu Picchu, accompanied by our expert guide.
• Enjoy a scenic bus ride to the citadel of Machu Picchu (approx. 30 minutes).
• Explore the ancient Inca sanctuary on a guided tour lasting 2 to 3 hours, discovering its history, architecture, and mysteries.
• In the afternoon, board the Expedition train class for your return journey from Machu Picchu to Ollantaytambo.
• Transfer from Ollantaytambo station to Cusco.
• Overnight stay at your hotel in Cusco.

After your breakfast, according to the schedule of your entry ticket to Machupicchu, in coordination with the guide, who will visit you the day before at your hotel in Aguas Calientes, you must take the bus up from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu (altitude 2450 m.s.n.m) that lasts approximately 30 minutes, at the time scheduled with the guide, you will have your guided tour of approximately 2 hours, being able to visit: the Main Plaza, the Solar Observatory, The Guardian’s House, The House of the Inca, the Sacred Solar Clock , The Royal Quarters, The Temple of the Three Windows and the Cemeteries. This travel program is ideal for exploring Machupicchu calmly and taking photographs with enough time and also having lunch in the town of Aguas Calientes or Machupicchu Pueblo. In the afternoon, at the indicated time of your return trip, you must board the train to Ollantaytambo. Our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to transfer you to your hotel. DAY 06: CITY TOUR CUSCO – HALF DAY TOUR

• In the afternoon City Tour Cusco. We will pick you up to start the tour at 14:00 hrs and finish around 18:30 hrs

After your breakfast, you will have a free day morning in Cusco (altitude 3,399 m.a.s.l.).

After lunch, we will pick you up from your hotel to start and enjoy a guided tour in Cusco at 14:00 hrs where you will see the following tourist attractions:

• The Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha:The convent of Santo Domingo in Cusco is the oldest religious building in South America, known as the “Temple of the Sun”. Currently you can see the wonderful Inca architecture linked to Spanish architecture which is a sample of our mestizo culture.
• The Cathedral: The Cathedral Basilica of the city of Cusco was built by native Cusco workers and led by the Spaniards. It also has the finest expressions of colonial goldsmithing as well as wood carving and a valuable collection of canvases of the “Escuela Cusqueña” (School of Cusco).
• Saqsayhuaman:It is one of the Inca constructions that most astonishes tourists who, according to new hypotheses, point out that it would have been an important Inca ceremonial center and not a fortress as previously believed. Its construction took more than seven decades and required the strength of about 20,000 men.
• Main typical streets of Cusco such as San Blas, Hatun Rumiyoq street

DAY 07: TOURISTIC BUS FROM CUSCO TO PUNO

• Breakfast included in the hotel
• Pickup from your hotel to board the bus
• Touristic bus from Cusco to Puno (Guided trip bus with stops at tourist attractions) *OPTIONAL: You can request train for this route, ask to your travel agent.
• Hotel Stay in Puno.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00 am to go to the bus station and boarding the touristic bus, going to Puno (altitude 3818 meters above sea level), 7 hours trip approximate.

On the way we will visit a small visit to the church of Andahuaylillas, the church dating from the early seventeenth c entury. It is known as the Sistine of South America for the magnificent paintings it has and for its altar chiseled in gold. After 218 km we will arrive to Raqchi, where the Inca temple of Wiracocha is located.

We will continue our way to Sicuani where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
Then we will go to La Raya, the highlight of our route located at 4,335 meters high. Our next destination is Pucara, where we will visit the Lithic Museum and finally our tour will be through high Andean esplanades under an amazing unreal clarity.

Upon arrival in Puno, our transportation will drop you off at your hotel. Overnight in Puno.

DAY 8: TOUR ON LAKE TITICACA, FLOATING ISLAND OF UROS AND TAQUILE ISLAND

• Tour on Titicaca Lake, visiting the Floating Islands of Los Uros and Taquile Island
• Hotel Stay in Puno.

We will pick you up at your hotel at 7:00 am approximately to go to Taquile and Uros island, located in the Lake Titicaca.

First we visit the Uros Island is artificial floors, made with totora superimposed and skillfully interwoven. During the trip the guide provides extensive information about Lake Titicaca, the legends of the Uros, their uses, customs and folklore; then we will visit Taquile island, we will go to its Main Square.

Taquile Taquile presents fabrics of an impressive quality comparable only to the looms of the Paracas or Egypt culture, declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity.

DAY 09: BUS FROM PUNO TO COPACABANA.

• We will pick you up in the morning to travel to Copacacabana, 4 hours trip approximate.
• Our staff, we will be waiting for you at the border to assist you with the visa procedures.
• In the afternoon after lunch we star the tour Sun of the Island in a shared boat to visit the island in Copacabana with a private English speaking guide.
• Hotel stay in Copacabana.

Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the bus station to board your bus to Copacabana at 07:00 a.m. The journey takes approximately 3 hours.

During this trip, you will cross the border between Peru and Bolivia at the Kasani Border (Desaguadero crossing point), where you will complete the corresponding migration and customs procedures.

Upon arrival, our team will meet you at the bus station and transfer you to your hotel. After lunch, in the early afternoon, you will begin your excursion to Isla del Sol. You will cross Lake Titicaca for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, arriving at the southern part of the island.

Here, you will visit the archaeological remains of Pillkokaina Temple, an important Inca religious center. Then, enjoy a short walk along the ancient Yumani steps, leading to the famous Fountain of Youth. At this sacred site, you may taste the fresh water, believed by locals to grant eternal youth. You will also have time to admire the beauty of the traditional Inca gardens. Overnight in Copacabana.

DAY 10: BUS FROM COPACABANA TO LA PAZ.

.After breakfast, you will explore the charming town of Copacabana. During the visit, you will discover its main highlights, including the Cathedral, the Sanctuary of the Dark Virgin (Virgen de la Candelaria), and the Main Plaza.

In the afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the bus station to board your bus to La Paz. The journey takes approximately 3 hours.

DAY 11: LA PAZ – SALAR DE UYUNI

After breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel to the Alto airport to board the fight from La Paz to the town of Uyuni. Our staff we will waiting for you at the airport.

Transfer from Uyuni airport or hotel pick-up in Uyuni. Visit to the train cemetery 10 minutes from Uyuni, visit to Colchani artisanal market, salt craft shops, wool textiles, alpaca and manual salt processing, salt heaps, salt water eyes, Dakar rally monument , flag square. Visit to the first salt hotel now a museum restaurant, lunch. Visit to Incahuasi Island where you will take a hike up to the top, from where you can see the salt flat in its entirety and also see the giant cacti. On the salt flat you can take perspective photos with the sun setting at the foot of the Thunupa volcano.

DAY 12: TOMAVE – UYUNI

Departure after breakfast to begin a fascinating journey across the Bolivian Altiplano. Along the way, we will visit the historic mining town of Pulacayo, once one of the most important mining centers in the country.

During the tour, you will admire the unique highland flora and fauna, including vicuñas, llamas, and Andean ostriches (ñandú), all in their natural habitat.

We will then continue to the picturesque village of Tomave, known for its impressive colonial church. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing experience in the natural hot springs, with temperatures around 35°C (95°F), perfect for a rejuvenating bath.

The journey continues to the stunning colored lagoons, such as Laguna Verde Warmy Kasilla and Laguna Celeste Orqo Kasilla, located at over 4,800 meters (15,748 ft) above sea level, surrounded by breathtaking desert landscapes.

Finally, we return to the town of Uyuni, with an estimated arrival between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel to take to the airport to take the flight to La Paz. In the afternoon around 14:00 hrs we begin the City Tour in La Paz, during this tour, you will get to know this wonderful city, where we will appreciate the cultural, historical, architectural and natural wealth, visiting the main square “Pedro Domingo Murillo”, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress and the Government Palace (exterior view), the Museum of Precious Metals (closed Mondays), and the Killi Killi viewpoint from which you have a panoramic view of the city of La Paz and the snow-capped mountain of Illimani, a replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiwanaku. Then we will move towards the southern zone and observe the change in climate and construction style of the houses. You’ll also have the opportunity to ride one of our city’s cable cars and end with a visit to the witches’ market, where locals purchase items needed for ceremonies and rituals, such as the Challa and offerings to Pachamama (Mother Earth). Overnight in La Paz.
